Remote help began before trust was fully visible.

What was happening
Technology support for an older person is an act of trust, usually happening while a worried family member is somewhere else entirely. The hard part was never the fixing. It was everybody involved being able to see what was happening and who had said yes to it.
What people meet now
Now there is a calm public way in, and it fits whoever is arriving: the person who needs help, a family member watching from a distance, a caregiver, or an organization referring someone. The site says plainly what will and will not happen, including that a real call only ever starts when you ask for one.
What the team got
Permission is part of the product rather than a conversation somebody remembers having. Consent is explicit before anything begins, the state of a session is understandable while it is happening, and a session ends with a record and a next step instead of a hope that everyone recalls it the same way.
And it belongs to them.
Responsible support usually depends on a person's memory and an inbox. Here it depends on the system, and the system belongs to the business running it.

Every business here started somewhere different and got an answer shaped to it. None of them are renting what you just looked at. Bring us the part of yours that is not working and we will tell you the smallest thing that would change it.
